Shop 23

This little kiosk feels like a place to meet up, with a relaxed vibe, good music, and friendly people. You can grab something to eat or a cold drink, or stick around for a freshly mixed long drink. There are lots of choices, from a Gin and Tonic or Cuba Libre to a Lillet Wild Berry, at fair prices. The service is so welcoming it feels like visiting friends. Great for after work, an impromptu get-together, or a taste of the weekend. Everything can be taken to go, too. A real kiosk and bar with character. Once you visit, you’ll want to come back!

The stay was completely unprofessional and incompetent, and not something we want to repeat. On arrival, a man who seemed to be the receptionist met us in a side street and handed over our key, explaining that he worked for another hotel. To contact the person in charge of Shop 23, we had to get a phone number through Booking.com. Our room was well below expectations, though we aren't demanding: the bathroom looked as if it had only been cleaned here and there, and the wall by the bed's headboard had obvious grime from earlier guests. We had to ask for the TV remote, and the TV had no signal anyway. The receptionist sent us to Shop 23 when we reported it, saying the issue had been known for a while and that a technician would come eventually. Mr. K. from Shop 23 said he had only logged the problem that day. After we pushed quite a bit, he reluctantly said someone would handle it that day. When we went back to the room, nothing had changed.

They put service first here. The best kiosk, with great value for money!

The bathroom was excellent, all new and, above all, clean 👌. For the price and a one-night stay, the room was okay, though it had a slightly musty smell, as if it might be damp or moldy.
