I went with a spinach, cheese, and tomato sauce dish similar to lasagna. It tasted good and cost 9 euros, about the going price around here. We’d been served a salad as an appetizer first. I’m vegetarian, so there weren’t many options for me.

There were lots of local people and the atmosphere was really nice. It’s a great neighborhood spot. The food is good if you eat meat, but there aren’t many vegetarian choices, which is pretty typical for a German restaurant.

The plates are huge, the beer is nice, and prices are reasonable. It’s a pleasant place with a good atmosphere and great German food. Service is amazing too, the very kind waiter made us want to come back again and again.

The food is still tasty, but after more than five years as customers, I’m done coming here because the service has got worse, especially at lunch. Some waiters have been unprofessional, using unkind words, shouting, and taking far too long to respond even when the restaurant is empty. More than three times, we waited over 20 minutes without anyone checking on us, then left without ordering lunch. Today the food was good again, but the service was very bad, and I’ve had enough.
