Hotelo Heidelberg

The breakfast buffet was a highlight, with lots of fresh options and warm bread. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I was happy with my stay at this hotel in Heidelberg city center. It’s conveniently located, a 10-minute walk from the train station. My room was small but clean and comfortable. I would have liked a fridge and coffee machine in the room, and the Wi-Fi was a little slow, though it was enough for what I needed. I’d suggest providing single-use slippers. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a convenient, comfortable place in Heidelberg.

It’s a nice hotel, but the rooms get sauna-hot and there’s no air conditioning. Without nets on the windows, opening them to cool down lets in lots of insects and mosquitoes. The hotel could improve this by adding air conditioning or ventilation, or putting nets on each window.

The hotel is nice and kept clean, and the blonde receptionist was very kind and helpful. But when it’s hot, you can’t open the windows without filling the room with flies and mosquitoes. They should have nets on the windows.

The beds and breakfast were good, and the price-quality ratio was very good. There are free or paid parking places. If you’re used to walking, the center is easy to reach on foot. Don’t expect luxury at this low price.
