The surroundings are stunning, and many of the guests seemed to be there for business. I spent two nights at Schloss Hohenkammer. Getting there from Munich took about 90 minutes by train and bus. My room had two complimentary bottles of water, plus a spacious desk with lots of drawers.

The setting was peaceful, clean and calming, with a beautiful modern hotel and a castle that made it even prettier. Breakfast was fresh, plentiful and had a really good variety, and the staff there were just as kind as everyone else. Service was superb, with polite, welcoming people who were patient and helpful. After staying in plenty of hotels over the years, this one was easily the best we've experienced. Our room was clean and updated, the bed was big and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were spotless, with no bad smells, mold or anything odd. Great atmosphere and location. A superb stay, and we'll definitely return.

We had another lovely stay here. It's a great place to bring a dog, and our spacious, clean room had a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and always happy to help.

A really nice place to stop when you're driving from northern to southern Europe. It's unlike places I've seen before, and not what you'd expect from a usual overnight stay.

We loved this as a wedding venue, and the accommodation, service and breakfast were all excellent. Getting back to Munich by public transport on a Sunday was almost impossible, though, so we had to take an Uber.
