The bed was good, and breakfast was better than I expected. The staff were friendly, helpful, and met my requests. The only downside was the bathroom, which is old and really should be cleaner.

The people are nice and breakfast is good, but the rooms are small with very little space. It feels more like a hostel.

Just perfect.

The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. The bathroom is a little dated but clean and fully functional. There’s no reception at the hotel, so you need to check in at another hotel, which is fine but can take longer. The staff are very friendly, though, and the elevator at the Horstmann Hotel is out of order. Close to the train station and convenient for the city, it’s perfectly adequate for an overnight stay.

We only stayed one night and found the central location ideal for a city trip. The hotel has a 70s charm that may not suit everyone, but we were welcomed warmly, and the room was clean with very comfortable beds. We didn’t have breakfast, as we already knew we wouldn’t before arriving, so I can’t comment on it. They let us leave our luggage in the room on departure day since it wasn’t being used, and we could use the bathroom once more the evening before we left. That was really kind, and I’d like to thank them again.
