We booked three Deluxe Double (Alpenchic) rooms for our group a few days ago. They each look a little different, but all seemed recently renovated, spacious by European standards, thoughtfully laid out and functional. Everything was clean and very well lit. The hotel is an easy walk from downtown and old town attractions, restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. Front desk and breakfast staff were all pleasant and provided excellent service. Breakfast was very good, both in selection and quality. We especially liked the fresh fruit and the self-service fresh squeezed orange juice. A very, very pleasant stay in every respect.

Getting around on foot was easy: the hotel is very central, about four minutes from the main station and within walking distance of Frauenkirche, Marienplatz and the shopping area. Breakfast was great, with freshly squeezed orange juice and a choice of coffees. I had a lovely stay. The room was really nice, with a seating area, and was clean. The staff were very friendly. I can highly recommend it for a stay in Munich.

The room was small, but nicely remodeled and felt modern. The hallway floorboards creak, so you can hear people walking past your door. Breakfast was reasonably priced and had a good selection. I’d recommend the hotel. The staff were very friendly and remembered my name during my stay.

The buffet breakfast was delicious, the rooms were nice, and the staff made us feel very welcome. They were friendly and helpful throughout. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The rooms were quiet and cool, and the staff were lovely. It’s also well placed for the old town. Especially handy if you arrive by train with bags, since it’s very close to the central station. I’d definitely recommend it.
