Arthotel Munich

My train was cancelled, so this turned into an unplanned stay. The room was small but had everything I needed and more, and I could bring my dog for a small fee. The cleaners did an amazing job, and the reception staff were really friendly and kind. The location was great and the price ridiculously cheap. What started as a bad situation became a cute, relaxing stay.

Arthotel is close to the main train station, so getting there with luggage was easy. The surrounding block has plenty of halal restaurants and supermarkets, which made grabbing a meal or snacks simple. The hotel itself has a bright pop-art look, with art statues tucked into nearly every corner and funny bull horns mounted in the rooms. It has a lot more personality than a stiff, boring hotel. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The staff were genuinely friendly and happy to help, and the breakfast was fresh. With the service and unusual decor, it felt like a cool home base, not just somewhere to sleep. I'd definitely recommend it for a trip to Munich.

We only stayed briefly because we were leaving Munich the next morning, but I was impressed with the art hotel Munich. The location is excellent, near the station and about a 15-minute walk from old town Munich. Our room was ready early, clean, and really nice, with a comfortable bed and brilliant shower. The desk staff were helpful and friendly, and breakfast had a nice selection to get the morning started. I'd definitely recommend it.

Two days before I was due to arrive for my vacation, my cat became seriously ill and needed an urgent operation. I messaged the hotel explaining what had happened and asked either to cancel without charge or move the booking to a later date. They refused both options and still charged me, even though I couldn't travel. It felt like money mattered more to this business than showing a little kindness in a difficult situation.
