Hotel Astor München

I asked to move to the other side of the hotel so I wouldn't hear the noise from across the street, where there's a strip club. The new room smelled horrible because the previous guest had smoked in it. Outside my window there was fighting, bottles flying, police, and screaming every day. When I complained, staff just said the area was dangerous and offered no help. The rooms were clean and the bathrooms modern, and my room was small but well organized. Still, I found the area dangerous and would stay away from this hotel.

The staff were very nice, and my room was comfortable, clean, and great. The location is in a really busy, noisy nightlife area. It doesn't feel like a four-star hotel as advertised.

The location, rooms, and staff were wonderful. Nasima was especially helpful, one of the most helpful people I've met, and I'd like to thank her. Please pass my greetings to Palo too, who was gentle, helpful, and friendly, and to Ahmed as well. I absolutely recommend this hotel and would book again if I come back to Munchen.

On a budget, this place is okay, but for a business trip I'd pick somewhere else so I could sleep better. The neighborhood felt sketchy, and the room was very noisy when facing the street. Inside, the bed and cleanliness were fine, apart from the toilet, which looked used when I first came in, with yellow liquid in it. The area and the feeling when entering the building were unpleasant.
