Smart Stay Hotel Station

Marima, if I have her name right 🙂, was incredibly helpful and kind, and the rest of the employees were kind too. Smart Stay is in a really great spot for all the Christmas Markets. If I'm back in Munich, I'll try to stay here again. A great experience!

Best hotel of my life. The customers are so friendly!! 100/10

The room was modern and clean, and I couldn't fault it. There's an elevator in the building, too. The location was surprisingly quiet even though the Main station is a five-minute walk away. A supermarket is one minute away, as are the metro and trams. Karlstor gate is at the end of the street, right where the old town gets hectic. I got a deal for three nights through one of the third-party vendors listed here. I tried to get the hotel to match it so they'd avoid the fees, but after a few days of emails back and forth, they could only offer the rack rate. I'd happily come back.

I was worn out after a packed travel schedule, a delayed flight, and train problems. I just needed to sleep well and wake up clear-headed enough to rearrange everything. This place came through. They’re ready around the clock with clean rooms and good conditions, which is a lifesaver when train trouble leaves you stuck. The price was excellent for what I needed. I’d recommend it to any traveler, and I’d return whenever travel plans go sideways again.
