This was our second visit. The room this time was large and very nice, a step above what you usually get in this hotel class. Breakfast was typical for a German tourist-class hotel, with plenty of good-quality variety. I love German breakfasts! We won’t stay here again unless they find a solution for luggage before check-in. Flights from the US often arrive early, and leaving bags at a hotel until check-in is so common in Europe that we didn’t think to ask before booking. This hotel used to take our bags when we stayed in 2022, but this time they wouldn’t. That’s a big issue for tourists. Even waiting in the lobby isn’t much of an option, since there’s only one chair. We know the area, so we walked to the main train station and put our bags in a locker. Nobody offered that information, and I’m not sure what we’d have done if we hadn’t known the neighborhood.

The breakfast was very good, with lots of choices, and the location worked well for the station, Wiese, and other public transport. I also found all the staff friendly and accommodating, and didn’t run into any of the cleanliness problems others have mentioned. Yes, the decor is a little dated. But I’d rather be able to open the window properly than have the sterile feel of a modern hotel where 'health and safety' lets you open it only a crack. That’s fine by me.

I’ve stayed here about seven times, mainly because it’s perfectly located for Oktoberfest (Wiesn). The style is a bit country classic, and some rooms have airconditioning. There’s a parking garage for guests arriving by car. All rooms have a tv and a fridge. Breakfast is continental, although the bread is always a bit stale. Service is generally polite. Unfortunately, there’s no luggage room, and the 10:00 checkout can make things a bit complicated. But

I really like this hotel. It’s very central and close to the central train station. Breakfast was amazing, like a 5 stars hotel breakfast. Receptionist Eldira and breakfast staff Roxana were both very helpful, and I’m grateful for their hospitality.
