Best Western Hotel Arabellapark Muenchen

A big grocery store, pharmacy, a few restaurants and cafes, and two metro stations are all nearby. The location is great, and it takes about 15 minutes by metro to reach downtown. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Just be aware there’s no fridge in the rooms, and sound doesn’t stay out very well.

My room was clean, and I had a nice stay in this quiet, modern place. The staff were polite and helpful.

I’d give it 4.5/5. The hotel and room were very clean, and the friendly, welcoming staff were great. Two metro stations on the U4 green line are close by, with access to old Munich in 14 minutes. The hotel was quiet, but the rooms aren’t soundproof, so loud neighbors can be heard. There are a couple of downsides to the limited amenities: no fridge in the room, and only shampoo and soap in the bathroom.

The buffet plates often weren’t clean, and the hard-boiled eggs were dirty, with feathers stuck to them and unpleasant-looking shells. They were undercooked too. Breakfast was a big letdown, and the hygiene standards didn’t seem to be a priority. Housekeeping was disappointing as well. I requested cleaning on the in-room tablet and nobody came. The next day I asked at reception, expecting at least fresh bed linens, but nothing was done. For a hotel at this level, that’s unacceptable. Based on my experience, I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.
