Hampton by Hilton Munich City North

Clean, modern rooms and a solid breakfast, with polite, quick, competent staff. It’s great value for the money, and I’d absolutely stay here again.

The place was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It’s a bit of a trip to downtown, so you’ll need the tram, though the stop is within walking distance. My room had no fridge, and the slippers provided were inconvenient.

Breakfast was basic but fresh. The rest of the stay was really stressful for our family. Parking came with confusing price information: the booking instructions said 22 euros, but it was 29 per day. Our rooms were missing different things, including heating, a kettle, or a towel. Guest service was incredibly poor, and the desk staff were rude and argued over every little thing. We’ll never return or recommend this hotel.

Breakfast was a mess: it was overcrowded, there weren’t enough seats, and even though the food was okay, it wasn’t anything special. We waited 15 minutes in line for the coffee machine. In the evening, the only food available was a sad, not very good pizza. Parking costs €29 for 24 hours, which I find very expensive. The room itself was nice and comfortable, but there was no breakfast tea, and the rest of the hotel facilities weren’t good.
