Hotel Gästehaus Forum am Westkreuz

The room was fantastic: spacious, with two windows facing different directions, three comfortable beds, two armchairs, a couch table, a dining table, and a kitchen with a fridge, kettle, and plenty else. The bathroom was clean and came with lots of fresh towels, shampoo, soap, and a hairdryer. The staff were really friendly, too. The hotel is in a strategic spot for visiting München and exploring Bayern, with markets, cafés, and restaurants all around. It's directly opposite the train station, and there's a deep garage. We left the car there and took the train to our destinations, which was a big relief. No dealing with crowded streets, heavy traffic, or expensive parking elsewhere. I'm very satisfied 😌 👍👍

The staff were so lovely and friendly, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The location couldn't be better. From now on, this is the only place I'll book when I'm in Munich.

Getting to the railway was so convenient. Stairs at the end of the platform lead straight into the complex where the hotel is, and there's a huge supermarket across the road, plus plenty of shops and places to eat nearby. I loved the spacious room and lovely balcony, and that shower was so good! We arrived and left outside opening hours, so I didn't have much interaction with staff. I also liked being able to get the room cleaned by flipping the do-not-disturb sign around. One small downside: depending on the weather, the mesh curtain can come off in the draft, for example during a thunderstorm when it's still hot or when it's windy. There are washing machines in the basement, which is a great bonus, but you need to ask reception for tokens.

The room was large and clean, and the bathroom had a fresh, modern style. It's right by the S-bahn and close to a local market, bank, and restaurants. The main drawback was the strong smells: curry odor filled the hallways and elevator, and sometimes made it into the apartment. There was also a strong sewer gas smell in the bathroom. The front desk said that happens from time to time, but my stay ended before my complaint did. Apparently, it could have been fixed easily.
