The breakfast buffet had loads of choice, from eggs and cereal to yogurt, fruit, meat, cheese, and pastries. The hotel felt homey and was good value for the price, and we’d happily return if we didn’t need luxuries. Our room was clean, with enough space, comfortable furnishings, and a handy sink. The shared bathroom was clean too. We heard some street noise, though it wasn’t too much. There was also a faint mechanical hum or buzz in the room. My partner found it distracting and wore earplugs; I’m normally a light sleeper and it didn’t bother me much, so it may affect people differently. Most central sights and the train station were within walking distance. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful, and the morning and afternoon ladies were especially welcoming.

Staff friendliness and service were the best part of our stay. The breakfast was excellent, and our room was clean and comfortable. There’s some clamor from the street below, but if you can overlook that, this is a great place within walking distance of many attractions.

People partying in the street below made it pretty noisy at night, which was the one downside. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would come back. The room was clean and worked perfectly for two, while the bathroom was neat and clean as well. Since it was quite warm in early September, the small fan and windows that open were a plus.

We got our room before the stated check-in time, which was a welcome start. It was bright and comfortable, with some pleasant little touches, and the clean bathroom was a good size. The Hotel staff were considerate and nice to deal with. The location was close to both the main train station and the city center, and we’d definitely stay again.

The staff were lovely, helpful, and kind, and breakfast was delicious. The hotel itself is charming and felt like a nice break from the busy city. The street is a bit seedy and loud at night, but with the window shut I could block it all out and sleep like a baby. I was there in cool September weather, so heat wasn’t an issue.
