The staff made the stay feel incredibly personal. Reception always greeted us, even when busy, and they knew us by name. They remembered what we liked and didn't like, including our breakfast drinks and meals. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a lovely selection. The cleaning staff even made my bed the way I liked without me having to explain. Every staff member felt like part of our family and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. I've stayed at five-star and self-proclaimed seven-star hotels, but none came close to this service. The hotel had a charming, rustic feel, with warm décor and an intimate atmosphere. The lobby felt like a living room, and the breakfast area had little nooks with feather pillows that made the seats comfortable. Leaving was emotional for me. Walking through the front door felt like coming home to our second family, and I wish the hotel and staff all the happiness and success they deserve. Booking was easy too. I called, and they found a room while keeping my budget in mind, with complete flexibility on room types and dates, which is usually hard to get with other hotels. The confirmation arrived by email straight away. Our room was very clean, with newly carpeted floors and a very large bathroom. It was the perfect size for three people.
