Hotel München City Center affiliated by Meliá

We found the restaurant useful when we arrived on a public holiday and most shops were shut. Dinner had a limited selection, but was enjoyable and reasonably priced. Breakfast was well stocked with plenty to choose from, though it was hectic and noisy when we went at a busy time. The bar and front desk service also helped make the stay pleasant. We finished our 10 day tour here and added one extra night. The hotel was quiet, clean, and comfortable, with good air-conditioning and WiFi. The lighting was very good, especially in the bathroom. The only downside inside was the slippery shower base. You can walk to the station, even with luggage, but the route to the old town takes about 30 minutes and isn’t particularly attractive until you get there.

I was happy with the rooms and service, and glad I chose this hotel. I wanted to experience a Melia property so I’d be better informed when booking for clients. It’s well placed for getting to the things you’d want to see as a tourist, and the train station is a short 15 min walk away.

The room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was delicious with plenty of food. The location is great, close to the station and marienplatz. The staff were amazing, especially gisela, simone and raquel. Thanks for the warm welcome, you’re the best guys. 10/10!

We won’t be returning, and we’ll tell friends and family to avoid this hotel. The location is very good, and we appreciated being able to warm the bathroom and having a good-quality hair dryer. The internet in our room never worked, even though our devices showed they were connected. We showed the receptionist a photo of the router with its red light, but she blamed our devices and told us to be “more comprehensive” about issues like this. She also said she didn’t need to call anyone if the internet worked elsewhere in the hotel. That was the level of service we got. They offered us free breakfast, which we declined. When we came back late at night, our window had been left wide open and the room was freezing. We don’t recommend this hotel at all.
