Hotel Pegasus Ma Nchen

Everything was clean during my one-night stay, and I had all I needed. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable stay around Munich.

I only needed a bed, so I picked this place because it was cheap. The room was really bad: mold and dirt all over the bathroom, a filthy toilet, and walls so thin even scientists at CERN would envy them. There was no breakfast, the guests were loud, and parking was just on the side of the road. The bed felt like it might break as soon as I lay down. The price is the only reason I'm giving it two stars.

The room smelled of smoke. When we asked to move, staff said it wasn't possible and offered a refund to make up for it. It turned out they were just offering to kick us out if we didn't like the smoke-filled room. One staff member even tried to walk in while we were still inside, without knocking or warning us. We had a child with us and planned to find another place anyway, but the whole situation became very unfriendly and unprofessional. If you're staying in Munich, go somewhere else and don't skimp by staying here.

Worth it! For about the same price as other budget chain hotels, we got a spacious room with a huge balcony. The room is cleaned and towels changed every two days without asking. There's a pod coffee machine with a few capsules and creamers, plus a fridge, and the temperature in the room is good. The only drawback is that it's a bit far from the city, especially if you plan to come back late. Across the street there's an Edeka express, a bakery, and a restaurant.
