Leonardo Hotel Munich City North

The neighbourhood was fairly quiet, with friendly staff in general, and the hotel is close to a U-Bahn station and shopping centre. We forgot to add breakfast when we booked. At €18 per person, it made more sense for us to eat out on the following days.

Breakfast stood out for me: the choices felt thoughtfully put together rather than like the usual hotel spread, and everything was fresh. Amine, who was in charge of breakfast, was super friendly and spoke several languages, which helps when visitors come from different countries. The receptionists were helpful and accommodating too. The hotel is quite far from the city centre, but the nearby U-Bahn, bus and tram stops are about a five-minute walk away. I really enjoyed staying here.

For our one-night stay, the clean room and comfortable beds were just right. The bathroom was convenient, and we liked having a bath and shower together. There was a coffee machine, and the lobby was beautiful. Thanks for the complimentary water, and for the friendly staff.

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The location was quiet, with public transport, restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Breakfast was decent, but quite expensive. My stay would have been much more enjoyable if the receptionist hadn't been rude and entitled, and borderline racist toward a customer of Eastern European origin. Don't mock customers for their spoken English. Treat tourists respectfully regardless of where they're from or speech impediments, especially when you're still somewhat of a foreigner yourself.
