Premium City Apartment

The location was great for our Munich holiday, and the apartment worked very well for us. It’s clean, secure, well equipped, and I’d stay again. Hosts replied quickly and made access easy. There’s a lift. Entry location on What3Words: ///flux.climber.hands. The living room has a TV, sofa, chairs, cabinets with extra crockery, coffee table, and dining table with chairs. Kitchen gear includes an oven, electric hob, microwave, dishwasher with tablets, sink, kettle, toaster, cutlery, mugs, plates, bowls, bottle opener, plus basic cleaning and washing-up supplies. There are two bathrooms: one off a bedroom with toilet, shower, basin, and washing machine, and another with a shower and separate WC. Bedroom 1 has a double bed, wardrobe, air-conditioning, mirror, bedside tables, and lamp. Bedroom 2 has three single beds, wardrobe, bedside tables, lamp, mirror, and air-conditioning. The lobby has a coat stand and Wi-Fi details. Also provided were an airer, iron and board, hairdryer, toilet and kitchen paper, towels, bed linen, and umbrella. Coat hangers are limited, so bring a few, or buy some at Müller. The apartment was comfortable, though it could use some refurbishment. The area is busy and noisy during the day, but generally quiet at night. A nearby nightclub was only loud on Saturday until around midnight, and that didn’t bother us. Hauptbahnhof, the underground, and trams are about a five-minute walk away, as are lots of restaurants and supermarkets. Marienplatz is a 15-minute walk or a train ride from Hauptbahnhof. Coach trips for Eagles Nest and Neuschwanstein Castle leave five minutes away, while Radius City tours are eight minutes away. Müller department store, which sells toiletries, makeup, kitchen items and more, is also five minutes away. DM is nearby too, a bit like Boots in the UK. We found tegut best for cereals, bread, milk, and food for dinner at home. There are also Edeka, Rewe, Lidl, and others. For luggage storage, use the bounce app. To get around, use the MVV app. Check ticket prices for your own needs, but we found the group day ticket for up to five people the best value. It can be used as much as you like until 6am the next day on trains, buses, underground, and trams. Make sure you get the right zone: M covers the inner city, while M-5 includes the airport.
