relexa hotel München

It's very clean and runs efficiently, though the rooms are small. The shower was great, but the sink and mirror were tiny. The hotel is handy for Oktoberfest and near the train station. Breakfast was good, if a bit pricey for what you get. I'd still stay again.

Right beside the main train station, it's a compact, clean place with friendly staff and easy access from the trains. Breakfast was better than expected. You can walk downtown in 20 minutes, with about half that walk along nice shopping streets. The first bit near the station is a little grungy, but it didn't feel unsafe or especially bad. A wonderful stay.

We stayed at Hotel Relaxa Munich during Oktoberfest. The location looked convenient, but getting to the hotel during the festival was extremely difficult, and staff offered little help or guidance. I accidentally left my AirPods in the room. The hotel confirmed they'd found them, but said delivery restrictions meant they couldn't send them back. Communication has been very slow, and only by email, with replies often taking several days. We paid for delivery, but the shipment didn't work and we still haven't received a refund. These unresolved issues after our stay and the poor communication made the experience disappointing.

The best part was breakfast. It was fresh and full every morning, with a great, healthy selection and amazing service. I'd come back just for that! The room was okay, super clean and new when we arrived. The sheets and towels were good quality, but nobody changed them during our five days, which wasn't okay. There was no fridge or minibar, or kettle, but that's kind of expected for a 3 stars hotel. The bathroom door was sort of open and didn't give much privacy. A nice 3 stars hotel otherwise.
