The cigarette smell was absolutely dreadful, and I had no idea smoking was still allowed in a hotel like this. There was nothing about it in the listing. When I mentioned the smell, the woman at reception said she couldn’t smell it. Gross, gross, gross. 🤮

A nice place.

The bed was soft, and the receptionist was friendly. The station is within walking distance, which was handy. But the room was tiny, about 10 sq m, and sparsely furnished. There were no curtains, no breakfast, and no decent restaurants nearby. The smoke smell was strong, the water smelled earthy, and there’s no elevator. In room 104, the bathroom door handle wasn’t properly attached and came loose in two pieces. Tolerable for one night in an emergency, but otherwise I’d never stay again.

The only real plus was how close it was to the city. The street was covered in bulky waste, and the service wasn’t great. The staff member I spoke to couldn’t even speak German. I know I only paid 60 €, but the room was terribly dirty and the shower was broken.

The room itself was clean, simple, and tasteful, but the smoke smell was hard to put up with. The reception area was so smoky it felt like you could hang an axe in the air. I won’t stay here again or recommend it.
