We were two adults and two kids in the "Delfin" apartment. It had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a double bed, bunk bed, and cot, plus a big kitchen and living-dining space. Everything was bright, clean, and had what we needed. The "Horse Lake Ranch" is 150 meters away, with food and drinks available on an honor basis and dinner served in the evening. There’s a petting zoo there too, with donkeys, horses, and other animals. For a quiet village, Neuendorf is lovely, and its harbor still has a small swimming spot and places to launch a paddleboard or rowboat. The harbor restaurant closed in 2023 after its owner was lost. About 10 km away, Bodstedt has another small swimming area, plus a fish smokehouse, sandwich stand, and restaurant. Bigger shops are in Ribnitz-Damgarten or Barth. The Baltic Sea is around a 30-minute drive via Zingst. Parking at beach access 27 was spacious and cost €6 per day. The dog beach is to the left, the textile beach to the right. The nudist beach is at access 30, one parking lot earlier.

The lagoon is close enough to walk to, but the village feels pretty empty and the nearest supermarket is a long way off, so bear that in mind. The apartments are basic and fairly old, and ours wasn't especially clean. The beds were really uncomfortable, and there were a few extra charges we hadn't expected. Fine for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer.

We got the peaceful, restful stay we were hoping for, and the owner was kind and very helpful. The sunset walk down to the harbor was especially romantic. The saloon deserves five stars too, especially for its amazing jukebox. Zingst is only 20 minutes away. We'll come back. Thanks for everything.

The apartments were neat and clean, and the owners were warm and friendly. It's a quiet place and good for children. Well worth visiting.

The harbor is nearby and really lovely, and the place was okay for a short break. Still, a couple of things felt odd: the trash can had a rusty lid, and while we were out, the man apparently went into the room and took something. The room felt like a worker's apartment. The nearest shop is 14 km away.
