That bar service was painfully slow. The food and prices were fine, but I wouldn’t go back if I had to wait that long while hungry. The three-course dinner was good at first, though the choices started repeating after a few days, and paying extra for alternatives felt wrong with half-board. Breakfast had plenty of tasty options, but my omelette took ages to arrive each day. We couldn’t book a massage because it was full well ahead of time. The hotel itself is modern and well equipped, with clean, comfortable rooms, a cozy bed, and a shower that warmed up quickly. Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The pool and sauna were lovely, even if on the small side. The location made it easy to explore the area.

The Ludwig Bar staff even made an effort to handle my most unusual requests, and everyone we met was helpful and fantastic. Our room was spotless and felt like a dream, while the location was enchanting. Breakfast was generous, and the taxi service was impeccable too. I’d love to have this experience again soon, in the very same room. If you’re visiting Neuschwanstein Castle, Ameron is a great place to stay.

The breakfast buffet stood out for both its quality and range, and getting settled was straightforward: we unloaded at the entrance, then parked the car in a nearby lot. From our room, we could watch cattle grazing and take in beautiful views of the Alpsee, which made the place feel peaceful. We stayed two nights at AMERON Neuschwanstein. The thoughtful furniture and sophisticated design worked well with the comfortable bed. It’s a cozy, stylish spot in an outstanding location.

Hani from the Guest Services Team made a lasting impression on our family. He was warm and welcoming from the start, gave us thoughtful, accurate advice on sightseeing and transport, and was always ready to go the extra mile. Each day he prepared a little treat for the children, which delighted them and made the stay feel magical. We had a wonderful, unforgettable time at AMERON Neuschwanstein Alpsee Resort & Spa. The hotel is gorgeous, the comfortable rooms are well appointed and have breathtaking views, and the location is fantastic. Thank you for such a memorable visit. We hope to return.

You step outside and feel like you’re in a story, with Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, two of Ludwig II's fairytale castles, right there. The location between them, in the Alps, is hard to beat, and Munich is close enough for an easy drive. There are two restaurants and a bar in or connected with the hotel, so finding somewhere to eat is easy. The rooms are beautiful and the service is great. Couldn’t ask for a better spot!
