Motel One Stuttgart-Mitte

We really appreciated being able to check out at 12:00. The room was pretty large, the beds super comfortable, and the price very reasonable. The facilities were great, and there are 3 different parking garages within 200 meters. It would have been nice to have tea and/or coffee in the room, though.

We had a great shower and a very comfortable bed, two things that matter a lot to me. The rooms are on the small side, so keep that in mind. It was our first time at a Motel One, but we’d stay at one again. Even during the busy Christmas Market season, the rate was very reasonable. We ate breakfast one morning, and it was solid and convenient.

I’d avoid this hotel if you expect customer service to include fixing problems. After the laundry mix-up, the manager refused to help, saying they used an outside service. That didn’t change the fact that the desk clerk had given me the wrong information. I had been told there was no specific time to bring laundry down, but when I dropped it off at 9:30 that morning, I was told it had to arrive by 8:00 or cost an extra 100 Euros. A reputable hotel would have apologized and offered a 100 Euro credit against my stay. I plan to escalate the complaint, though I shouldn’t have to go through all that just to get it handled properly. I booked this dump because I was visiting a friend in Germany who was staying here too. I made the mistake of asking about laundry shortly after check-in. The next step is to escalate my complaint. If you want a hotel that cares about customers and takes inevitable problems seriously, I’d stay elsewhere.

The service from Sir Tunç was incredible. Whenever something came up, they sorted it out right away, so it never felt like a problem. The rooms are excellent for this price range, and I don’t think the location could be better. I also liked the refreshing lemon water in the lobby and being able to get hot water any time of day. 10/10 for me, no complaints.
