The breakfast spread had plenty to suit different tastes, and parking was free, though breakfast itself wasn’t included. I did find the breakfast lady’s hectic, very loud manner uncomfortable. Still, after stressful medical treatment in Luxembourg, I was relieved to find somewhere calm and safe. I arrived after opening hours, but the person in charge stayed late for me. My single room was very clean and quiet, with a lovely big bed. The main road was closed for roadworks, so there was no traffic noise, which I really needed at the time. You may want a car to get to the city center, but there are vineyards across from the hotel, with walking routes and a nice wine cellar and Hofladen nearby. Hotel Winestyle has a sister hotel in Schweich, which I might try too. I had such a good stay that I’ll definitely come back next time I travel south. I recommend it, and thank you again!

After a long day in Trier, I slept well in a comfortable, quiet room. The staff were attentive, breakfast was delicious, and the price felt like very good value. I’d happily stay again.

The room problems made this a really stressful stay. My door wouldn’t lock, so anyone could have come in. When I asked about getting it fixed, I felt as if I was being a nuisance. I was moved, but the ventilator in the next room was broken and ran loudly all night, so I couldn’t sleep there either. Towels were missing, along with other things that weren’t working. When I tried to politely explain how stressful the stay had been, nobody even apologized. Service and interactions were extremely poor and unfriendly. The hotel isn’t in the city center, and after 6 pm the buses are very infrequent, just twice an hour. In my opinion, breakfast at 15€ is expensive for what’s offered, with fewer options than I’d usually expect in Germany. This is the first time I’ve left a negative hotel review.

The bus stop is right outside, and the rooms are large. Everything felt perfect, from the cleanliness and cozy setting to the great staff. Best breakfast in all of Europe!
