Hotel Restaurant Estricher Hof

We had breakfast there every morning, and Daniela remembered exactly how we liked our eggs and extra-crispy bacon each day. She was the highlight of our five-night stay at this family-owned hotel. She's one of the family owners, and we really appreciated the morning chats and how readily she handled anything we asked for. Benny was also lovely at dinner, which we had there two or three times, and even gave us a little Germany wine tasting experience. Our room was spacious, quiet, very clean, and serviced daily. Everything, from the room to the staff, was perfect, and breakfast was wonderful. We sincerely thank Daniela and her family for looking after us so well. If you're looking for somewhere lovely in Trier, we highly recommend giving them a try. You won't be disappointed.

The price felt absolutely fair, especially with the very good draft beer and delicious ice cream. Our dinner at the beergarten was lovely too. The salad was generous and tasty, and my well-done black angus came out properly cooked while still juicy. Service was quick and polite.

The BBQ smoker food was excellent, and we were very happy with its quality. The outdoor seating has a great atmosphere, and although the place is near a major inter-city street, it's tucked away in a calm, wooded spot. Service and location were excellent too. It is very pricey, though, and most meals don't come with any kind of side dish.

Friendly staff and very good food. The hotel is a little off the main route, and it's not cheap, but the prices are reasonable. A great hotel.
