Hotel am Bahnhof

My single room was clean, and the shower was great. It wasn’t trendy or especially modern, but it had everything I needed for one night. Having a separate, secure room for my bike was a really nice bonus.

For this hotel category, I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular, and it was a very good deal. There was everything I needed: a comfortable bed, wardrobe, bedside table, desk, TV and bathroom. There was even a kettle for making tea or coffee. The one problem was parking. The spaces are so tight that getting out can be tough if you have a big car parked between two other big cars, or if the cars beside you aren’t lined up properly.

The rooms are simple but neat, and they clean them every day. Even though the hotel is right at the train station, it’s still peaceful. The staff are helpful, and the lobby and restaurant are nice. Breakfast is good for the price.

We come here whenever we visit the Freienfelser Ritterspiele. Being right at the train station makes the location perfect, and the area is quiet enough that sleeping isn’t a problem. The rooms are very affordable, and breakfast is simple but enough. It’s a cosier hotel than you might expect by a train station, and I always look forward to staying here.
