Hotel Restaurant Eschbachtalsperre

Really great place!

The room was quiet and perfectly fine for a night. The restaurant let us down, though. The menu prices didn’t match what came up on the POS system, so watch out for that. They also brought Sauerbraten instead of roast pork. After that, we decided not to have breakfast at the hotel.

The pond and surrounding forest make for a lovely walk, and the area is great. But things have gone downhill since seerways took over. I'm here 26/7, and after traveling a long way I thought we’d get a meal, but they had too few staff and served no food. This is the worst place now, and I’ll never return.

There was no one clearing tables or checking whether everything was all right. The buffet itself was tiny, very basic, and had little choice. We even had to hunt for cups because the holders by the coffee machine were empty. The cheese was old and curling at the edges, the muesli had run out and wasn’t replaced, the scrambled eggs were cold, and the orange juice was warm. That was the worst breakfast buffet I’ve ever had. This isn’t hospitality.
