The rooms were quite good and very clean, with comfortable beds. We liked the river view, which was definitely worth it. The bar was decent, the gym was excellent, and we loved the sauna, steam room, and beautiful walk along the water. The location worked for us too: Andersen bakery was a 10-minute walk, and the central station was 10-15 minutes away. The hotel staff were good, and we enjoyed the stay. The problem came afterward with Marriott's points policy. We had booked one room for four nights, realized it was too small, then booked another room on the spot for two nights. My wife is a Gold Elite member, and we were told we'd get 500 bonus points for the second room. But because of what I consider an asinine policy, we got no points at all for it. The follow-up service about the points was dreadful. With reasonable points policies, we'd give it 5/5. As it stands, the policies are seriously dumb, and we're moving our business and personal travel to World of Hyatt.

The room view was amazing, and the morning scenery was the best. The room was large by European standards, the bed was comfortable, and I slept very well. The location is very very good, close to the water and the center, with everything easy to reach on foot. Staff spoke English very well and were friendly, not cold. Breakfast offered lots of choices, Scandinavian as well as international. It works for both business and leisure. I'll stay again if I come to Copenhagen.

We'd happily return to Copenhagen Marriott Hotel. It's a comfortable, relaxing place to stay, with clean, well-maintained rooms and friendly, welcoming staff who make you feel well looked after. The décor is more classic than modern, but everything felt reliable. The rooms are spacious and bright, a real treat by city standards. The gym and sauna are excellent, and the waterfront setting is beautiful and peaceful, with lovely harbor views. It's still close enough to walk to the major attractions.

Coming here felt like the right call, with the city and weather adding to a lovely stay. My room looked out over the Øresund Strait, which made everything feel calm and open. It was clean and quiet, and breakfast was just what I expected, even better with that view.

The location is good, but we won't be back. This has been by far the worst Marriott property claiming five stars that I've stayed at as a Titanium member. The hotel really doesn't serve its guests, and the service isn't five-star. We booked three nights at the Tivoli rate months ahead, but at check-in were told the tickets had run out. They said they'd refund the DKK 600 charged for Tivoli tickets and told us to book them ourselves. That rate only gives one day of Tivoli access, so why sell it without tickets? There was plenty of time to plan. The executive lounge door was propped open with a hand sanitiser pole yesterday, and it was so busy our party of three couldn't find a table. We couldn't use the service. What is the point of loyalty to the Marriott brand? Breakfast is crazy busy. On Monday night, room service arrived cold and had to be remade. The restaurant is closed on Mondays.
