The room was fresh, clean, and felt new. The linens and towels were soft, and the shower had no dust or mold. One issue was that the bathroom door wasn’t properly aligned, so it kept swinging shut and was hard to ventilate. Breakfast was continental, with a coffee machine and both hard- and soft-boiled eggs. It’s relatively quiet despite being near the station, and Netto is a decent walk away. The older male receptionist wasn’t very nice. Still, it was really good value for a relatively low price.

We had a four-person room for a backpacking weekend, and it was a great fit for the price. We paid about 66€ each for three nights, around 22€ a night. The beds were comfortable enough, and the curtains kept the room dark. The hotel is very close to the main station, making it easy to get to the airport, buses, and tube, and the city center is walkable. The location itself is quiet. Reception is open 24/7, and they offer breakfast, water bottles, bike rental, and other things you might need. You can request daily cleaning and fresh towels. The bathroom is shared, but we never queued. Having a sink in the room was handy for filling water bottles and brushing teeth. The shower is large, with hooks for clothes and a small bench outside for changing. It’s spacious, not hostel-style. I’d bring earplugs if you’re a light sleeper, in case people above are noisy. I didn’t see an elevator, though there might be one. They also have very cheap lockers for suitcases and backpacks after check-out.

Just keep in mind that the economy option doesn’t come with a private bathroom. Apart from that drawback, I enjoyed my stay. It’s close to the center of cph, the room was clean and modern, and breakfast was mid-range but enjoyable.

The price is good for this area, but there’s basically nothing provided. No lift, water, glasses, coffee maker, fridge, air conditioning, or shampoo. There is a hair dryer and a hand soap dispenser, though I bring my own stuff anyway. The front desk guy was a bit grumpy. When I asked about coffee, he said, “You pay me first.” 😜 Haha, fair enough. 😅

The location was convenient, and the room was barely acceptable, though the economy rate meant a shared bathroom. It felt like staying in a hostel, which would have been cheaper and had a private room and bathroom. The room itself was still just passable. The front desk experience was awful. I brought guests in to use the bathroom, and I can understand a no guest policy, but when I mentioned “guest,” the staff member wouldn’t hear me out and sent all of us outside into the freezing cold. I asked if they could wait in the lobby while we talked, but was told they had to stay outside. I told them and my girlfriend to wait patiently and let me handle it. Instead, the staff member insulted me before any productive conversation could happen. He said my girlfriend had “lied” because she and her friend were on the stairs when he asked if they were staying. She answered “yes,” but apparently that was a lie because she hadn’t said her friend wasn’t staying. He treated that as grounds to throw us out. Janis also looked me in the eye and said I “appear to be the spoiled type,” potentially because I was young and wearing a nice suit for my Valentine’s Day dinner. I don’t expect hotel staff to insult guests, even at a 2 star place. Later that night, after walking my guests back to the train station, I asked the staff for an apology and didn’t get one. The next morning I tried to have an honest conversation with another staff member, but she defended her colleague and showed no sympathy. She finally brought out the contract I’d asked for at least eight times the night before, and said it doesn’t help when we “don’t listen to directions” and don’t go back to our room. I guess I should have let an employee disrespect me, a paying customer, and gone back when ordered. In the hotel’s reply, it said my guests could have used the lobby. That option wasn’t offered. I asked whether they could wait there while we talked, and staff insisted they wait out in the cold. I understand rules and policies, but guests deserve a minimum level of respect, and this was nowhere near it. I explicitly asked to see the printed rule or the contract I’d signed, but wasn’t shown it until the next morning. My complaints were about the situation until staff started making personal insults. Truly unbelievable. This is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, including youth hostels. I travel quite often and rarely leave reviews unless an experience is exceptionally good or terrible. This one was horrendous. Please spend the extra money on a real place that respects you as a guest.
