STAY Nordhavn

The metro is just a couple of minutes away on foot, so the city centre is a quick ride. It’s a great area to wander around, with lots of parks for kids, and the rooms are modern, spacious and really nice.

The room had a stunning view, and the metro was close by. Everything exceeded my expectations: the place was spotless and had everything I could need. Such a perfect stay. I can’t wait to come back!

The thing to know is that Nordhavn gives you a taste of modern Danish life, rather than old Copenhagen. It’s a new development at the end of the metro line, about 10 minutes from the city centre, surrounded by the sea and canals. There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby, and the buildings are very modern. Stay Nordhavn has apartments in different sizes, all with generous space. Ours had large bedrooms, bathrooms and a balcony, plus a big living area with a well-equipped kitchen. The look is minimal, with concrete ceilings and design chairs and sofas, but there was everything needed to be comfortable. There’s a restaurant, an excellent coffee shop and a gym in the complex. The metro is a three-minute walk away. Reception is open around the clock, and the staff are friendly.

We had a great stay, with an easy location and lovely evening walks by the sea. The rooms are spacious and modern. We were on the 3rd floor, where the sun comes straight in from one side in the morning and the other in the afternoon. In summer it can get hot, and opening the windows and curtains means giving up much privacy.
