Gracia was generous and considerate, giving me space while still replying right away whenever I had a question or needed something. I felt secure on the property, and the coded locks meant I could head out without carrying keys or worrying about losing them. La Punta worked really well for me. It’s quieter than other parts of Montañita, with restaurants and a few bars nearby, and the town center is about a 5-10 minute walk by road or beach. The cabaña itself felt special as soon as I walked in. It was roomy, spotless, well equipped, and decorated in a beach chic style. The private, fenced grounds had a grill, an outdoor dining table, and a couple of hammocks in the garden. I’d happily recommend Punta Cielo.

The host was so warm and made our stay really enjoyable. There are a couple of tasty places to eat nearby, and a perfect sunset spot just a block away. I had an amazing time and hope to come back :)

The rooms were clean and the host was super friendly. It’s a great spot, just a 30 second walk from the world class point break and a few minutes on foot from town. I definitely recommend Punta Cielo.

A horrible place. After more than three years traveling around Latin America, I’d put this among the continent’s five trashiest, dirtiest, and smelliest places. It needs a renovation and a serious deep clean.

There are much better and cheaper places closer to the ocean. This one has lots of cats and dogs, and it smells a bit. The hosts, though, were very nice.
