The garden was a highlight, and it was clear the family took pride in it. My room was clean and refreshed every day. The owners of this San Cristobal hostal were warm and helpful, always greeting me with smiles and sincere questions about my day. They don't speak English, but Daniel spoke Spanish slowly and clearly enough that we managed fine. My only gripe was a couple of neighborhood dogs barking a lot at night. That's not the owners' fault, and I was usually tired enough that it didn't bother me much, but earplugs could help.

At Hostal Terito, the owners were really friendly and shared lots of ideas for things to do on the island. The room was spotless and cleaned daily. Everything is within walking distance, too. We had a great stay and highly recommend it.

The owners are lovely, and the rooms are clean and well equipped. For the higher-priced Galápagos Islands, the cost feels just right. A perfect place to stay in San Cristobal.

A small injury at the beach could have been a hassle, but Daniel took me to the local hospital and stayed with me for the whole visit, which lasted over two hours. He's part of a wonderful family, some of the kindest people I've met. Our room was clean and spacious, and the internet was fast, which isn't so common on the island. They have a beautiful garden and even let us use their kitchen. One of the best hostels or hotels I've stayed in.
