We cooked in the hostel kitchen several times, and there was bottled drinking water for everyone. Our room was lovely, cleaned daily, and came with soap and two towels per guest. Pepe also lent us snorkeling gear and explained how everything worked, along with how to reach the island's popular spots. We just finished five days on San Cristobal, and he was a really kind host who clearly wanted his guests to have a good stay. I'd recommend Palma Del Mar to anyone visiting San Cristobal.

The way Pepe looked after us made the trip memorable. He treated everyone like family, and it was clear he cared about each guest. He kept the place very clean, was wonderfully helpful, and shared good food tips. He also offered to arrange taxis at a cheaper rate. We loved Palma Del Mar and hope to come back.

The shower barely got warm, which was the one drawback. Otherwise, this was an affordable, pleasant place that felt more like a homestay than a hotel. There seem to be four rooms in all, and ours was fairly spacious, with lots of windows, in a quiet part of town. Pepe, the owner, speaks great English and kindly gave us tips on things to do and places to shop on the island. There's free drinking water and a small, comfortable kitchen for making breakfast. Definitely recommend it.

The location was fantastic, a short walk from the town center and close to Playa Mann. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower water was always hot. Our room had plenty of towels, soap, toilet paper, a clothing rack, and other basics, while the shared kitchen was extremely well equipped and fun to cook in. Pepe was friendly and accommodating, and his recommendations were much appreciated. The walls are a little thin, so as a light sleeper, I'd bring earplugs. I'd highly recommend staying here.
