The location is quiet for a big city, with a pharmacy, bakery, and restaurants about a five-minute walk away. On a clear day, you can see snow-covered peaks from the balcony. The rooms and service were great, and breakfast was good. Wi-Fi was a little unreliable in my room, though it worked well when I moved somewhere else.

We love staying here on our mission trips to Ecuador, and I’ve been twice. The staff are attentive, and while this isn’t a five-star place, they do the best they can with what they have. It’s very good value. When we come to this beautiful country, we want most of our resources to support our local church family and community, so having the Galaxy Hotel accommodate a good-sized group at a very reasonable price is a blessing. I’d recommend it to anyone.

We’re overlanders and found this a lovely place to rest in Quito. There’s secure, enclosed parking and a place to work on our vehicle, and the rooms are clean and good. The staff are very kind, and breakfast is really good.

It’s cosy and quiet here, and the cleanliness gets a 10 out of 10 from me. Christopher from administration was professional and quick to help, and I’m happy with the service. I give the place a 10.
