The rooms feel comfortable and have a really nice atmosphere. There's no TV or mini fridge in the room, but both are available in a shared space outside. There isn't a phone in the room either, so you have to go to reception to communicate. The staff are friendly and helpful. The street can be noisy and there's no sound isolation, so it may feel a little expensive for that, but I'd still visit again.

It's a cozy, quiet and peaceful place in an old building, which adds to the unusual experience. Cats wander around and play with you 😊😊. The staff are lovely and always there to help. The location is the main difficulty: Uber drivers struggle to get down the hotel street, so expect to walk a minute or two. I'd recommend it to people after an unusual stay who want to feel part of the city's history.

Good value in a central location. The staff are great, especially Mohammed. The ceiling paint needs redoing, and the water pressure is very limited.

Stay away. We had a confirmed booking made a month earlier, but they gave our room to someone else. They told us there was a “water problem,” which we believe was a lie to cover the double booking. We were traveling with a baby. Instead of sorting out their mistake, they tried to send us to a disgusting, low quality hostel nearby. The manager was dismissive and didn't apologize for the misery this caused. We had to leave and find another hotel at the last minute. There was no professionalism or basic human empathy. Don't trust their confirmed reservations, even through booking.com.

The hotel is cozy and the service was great. The staff were very nice, and everything was close by. Mohammed made check-in and checkout smooth, even though we arrived at 4am.
