Garden City Apartment in Downtown Cairo

Great location and lots of space for a large group. The elevator is the one concern, as it feels a bit sketchy.

The people working here made the biggest difference. They were warm and professional, helped whenever I needed something, and made me feel welcome throughout my stay. Their local tips and everyday greetings made me feel genuinely cared for. Garden City Apartment is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with thoughtful details, natural light, and furnishings that make it feel like a home. It has classic character with modern comforts. The Garden City location is lovely, with leafy streets, historic buildings, and beautiful architecture. It feels peaceful while still being close to downtown, the Nile Corniche, nearby sights, and Cairo’s nightlife. I’ll remember my time here for a long while. It gave me a comfortable way to experience Cairo, and I’d gladly return and recommend it to other visitors.

A few things made the stay less than smooth. The WiFi details in the email were wrong, though the correct username and password were on a sticker under the router by the TV in the living room. Some doors squeak badly, and the room was missing small tea spoons and table knives. The elevator felt unsafe. You have to place a blue “pill” on a red lit spot in the cabin to get it moving, and it got stuck once. Then at 3 a.m. a man came in asking to see our passports. We sent him away; he was meant to return the next day, but never did. It was okay overall, but those were real drawbacks.
