The heated indoor pool was a lovely way to unwind after sightseeing, and there are shops and a pharmacy within walking distance. Elite Pyramids Boutique Hotel is also very close to the pyramids, with a beautiful direct view from the restaurant terrace. Having breakfast or dinner while looking at them was a special experience. Breakfast was very good, the restaurant food was excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. We thought it was great value and would happily stay again. Highly recommended if you want to be near the pyramids.

The location worked really well for visiting the pyramids and the new museum. Downtown was a 20-40 minute Uber ride away. We had a fantastic few days at the elite hotel, and the staff, including Zico, handled everything nicely. One tip: the hotel airport pickup cost us USD 25,00, which was cheaper than the booking portals. Uber is cheaper still, but harder to get. We’d recommend this spot for a Cairo visit.

The birthday gift was a lovely, thoughtful surprise and made my stay more memorable. I’m grateful for the care and assistance I received throughout my visit, and for the warm hospitality that made the whole experience so pleasant. Thank you for the excellent service. I look forward to coming back.

The hotel was charming, comfortable, and very quiet. It connects to another hotel, with the restaurant upstairs. Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly. We were there only two nights, so didn’t try the bar or other services, but the kids did use the heated pool. Free wifi was excellent. We weren’t used to eating in the nearby areas, and walking outside felt dangerous because vehicles don’t stop, so we chose to eat in the hotel. The restaurant had quite a few food options, but the staff there weren’t very friendly and need to improve. The view from the restaurant, though, is amazing.

EPB is right near the edge of the neighborhood, with only the Mena House golf course between it and the Giza necropolis. The hotel sits under the magnificent Zeeyara rooftop restaurant, where we had a very tasty dinner with wonderful pyramid views. There’s also a small terrace on the hotel’s fifth floor with an excellent view. Five rooms are considered “pyramid view.” Rooms 504 and 506 open off the central lobby and have a direct view from the window, with plants creating a bit of a screen on the terrace. Rooms 508 and 509 are entered from the terrace and sit on the opposite side, but also have a direct, unobstructed view from inside. We were assigned 505, set farther back, and its view was mostly obstructed. I’ve included pictures so people can see for themselves. Our room was clean and adequate, though the door looked as if it had been kicked in and never repaired. The lock and deadbolt seemed useless since the door could be pushed open easily. Still, there was always a hotel staff member in the lobby, so we felt safe. When our Uber arrived, Youseff was waiting at street level in a hotel labeled hoodie. He helped us find the entrance, which isn’t obvious for first timers even though you eventually see the sign, and got us to the elevator and check-in on the fifth floor. The included breakfast is very light, with three options, and starts at 7am, which may be late if you’re setting out early in the heat. The dinner at the restaurant, which wasn’t included, was wonderful, and the view is spectacular at breakfast and dinner alike. We found EU plugs on the kettle in our room, but a man at the desk swapped it for an Egyptian plug kettle in under a minute. This is a capable small hotel and a good value if you want to stay close to the Giza complex, with a convenient restaurant for dinner and breakfast and a spectacular pyramid view. If you book a pyramid view room, you could be disappointed with 505. You might ask for 504, 506, 508, or 509 and hope you get one. With the terrace and restaurant, we can’t complain too much. One practical note: as of April 8, the Mena House entrance to the Giza complex was closed and the new Great Entrance was opening on the opposite side. The views are still great and you’re fairly close, but you can’t use the old entrance on foot as before.
