The food was good and varied enough, and the staff were friendly, though they were very pushy about tips and it felt oppressive. The pool, solarium, and terrace seemed much like those on other ships at this level, but this is definitely not a 5-star hotel, three stars at most. The biggest problem was the noise in the cabins beside the engine, at least the three cabins between the engine and reception. The sound during maneuvers was unbearable, and we had four sleepless nights. With the ship full, there was no way to change cabins and no solution was offered. These cabins should be soundproofed or sold for much less with a clear explanation. It feels extremely unfair to pay the same as other guests and be treated worse. Ships docking side by side is absurd. With four boats lined up, your balcony can be only a meter from the next ship’s balcony. In the notorious engine-side cabins, we also heard the other ship’s stinky exhaust fumes. The dining room is half below the water. It was a real nightmare.
