Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh

The food was consistently good, with excellent breakfast omelettes and plenty of fresh, healthy choices at lunch and dinner. We also found the room spacious and spotless, and the gardens, pools, beach, and rest of the resort were immaculately kept. What made Cleopatra Luxury Resort Sharm El Sheikh stand out was the staff. Lifeguards, bar staff, restaurant teams, spa therapists, and excursion organisers were all warm, attentive, and committed to making our stay special. The service was the best we’ve experienced anywhere, and management seems to have built a real focus on guest happiness. My husband and I rarely write reviews, but after such an exceptional stay we had to share. We’ve travelled a lot, and only a handful of hotels have made us want to return. This is one of them. We were blown away and will absolutely be back.

The food was the main disappointment. It tasted poor and fell well below what I expected, so the meals weren’t enjoyable and dragged down the stay for me. The hotel itself was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas, and housekeeping did a great job throughout. Cleanliness and upkeep are a real strong point. I hope management improves the food.

Cleopatra, thank you for a great stay. Housekeeping was top notch, and the restaurant and reception staff were excellent. The bar staff could have been friendlier, though. The food wasn’t that great: there was plenty to choose from, but not much variety from one day to the next.

The resort is beautiful, spacious, and well maintained, with a relaxing feel and impressive grounds and facilities. Its location is excellent and close to the airport. I paid about £3 for a taxi from the airport, booked through IDrive, so there’s not much need to arrange a transfer in advance. Taxis are easy to find and very cheap. Food depends on your taste. Some dishes were really good, but I’d have liked more choice, especially compared with resorts in Antalya, where the food selection and taste are generally better. A wider range would improve the experience. Still, this is a comfortable resort and great value for money. I’d recommend it, especially for the location.
