Eden Rock Hotel

Our room stayed spotless throughout, and Atef did an amazing job as our housekeeper every day. He was polite, attentive, and kept everything feeling fresh and comfortable. We really appreciated his work. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were friendly, so we enjoyed almost everything about the stay. The food was tasty and good quality, though the selection got repetitive after a few days. There could have been more options, including fruit. We only saw melon and oranges during our stay. We still had a great time and would recommend the hotel, especially for the cleanliness and excellent service.

The location made it easy to get to the beach, restaurants, and shops, so exploring Sharm was convenient. I found Eden Rock Hotel to be very good value, and I'd gladly recommend it and stay again. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive, whether we needed activity arrangements, local tips, or just a hand feeling comfortable. The hotel feels cozy but lively and welcoming. It was clean and well kept from the rooms to the common areas and pool.

The only things I liked were the location and the sea view. Otherwise, I didn't feel comfortable at this hotel. We booked a couple's room but were given a room with two single beds. When we asked for a double bed, they said none were available and pushed the two beds together. I stayed for four days, and no one cleaned the room or even asked if I needed anything. There was no Wi-Fi in the room, and it barely worked in the lobby. The reception guy also tried to scam me. I exchanged $30 with him after being told it was better to change money with an Egyptian. The next day he said he'd miscalculated and had given me $50 instead of $30, then asked for another $20. It seemed obvious he was trying his luck and thought people were stupid. Swimming wasn't allowed after 6 PM. I was out doing activities during the day, so by the time I got back in the afternoon, I couldn't swim. At night we sat on the balcony but bugs were everywhere and ate us alive, so we had to rush back inside and couldn't enjoy being out there. No cleanliness, no good service, and on top of it all, a scam.

The views over the town and harbour are great, and it's only about an eight-minute walk to the main part of town. The hotel sits on a hill, so there are around 136 steps, which could be difficult for older or disabled guests. We managed them without a problem. The place is a little rough in spots, but nothing that put us off. Breakfast was perfectly fine, the small bar was nice, and all the staff were wonderful. I didn't use the pool, but it looked excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this great little hotel.
