Good quality, a friendly hostess, and a very good location.

A fantastic apartment with loads of space.

The apartments have lots of room, indoors and out, and we stayed for several weeks in the two large units at the top of the building. Each has two huge, impressive terraces. Inside, the first-floor bedroom has a large comfortable bed, its own bathroom, and a dressing room. Downstairs, the kitchen, dining area, and living room share one big space, with a bright bay window running along the whole room. There’s also a toilet and plenty of storage. The floor is pine-colored wood. The setting has drawbacks. The north-facing side opposite the market gets no sun and is often windy. The west-facing side is better, but a huge hotel across the street blocks the sun from early afternoon. It’s fairly quiet, though we could still hear the avenue and people shouting at night despite the double glazing. Some basic upkeep and fittings need attention. The overall finish should be reviewed soon, there are very few electrical outlets, and the kitchen needs accessories. The knives are blunt, the stovetop isn’t induction and makes cooking a hassle, and there’s no light by the sink. Neither the wall clocks nor the oven clock showed the right time. The bathroom isn’t very welcoming and needs a better clean and restoration. The showerhead is covered in limescale, and there’s a shower curtain. We do recommend the place despite those issues. Communication with the woman who greeted us wasn’t always easy.

The terraces are spacious, but facing west means they’re really only enjoyable after sunset. Inside, everything was clean, roomy, and in a great location. The floor is very noisy, though.
