The location and renovation are good. There were two towels per person in the room and a small fridge, but the positives stop there. Only one bathroom is shared by all the guests, so five other rooms use the same shower and toilet. We sometimes waited up to 30 minutes for others to finish, which was inconvenient. There were no disposable slippers or even glasses for water, and no kitchen or shared cooking area. There was no microwave, dishes, cutlery, stove, or other cooking equipment. The room had a tiny clothes rack with just three hangers and no hooks for towels or anything else. Soundproofing was very poor: we could clearly hear conversations in neighboring rooms, as well as corridor and bathroom noise. The window faced the inside of the building, so little natural light came in and the room felt dark most of the time. Photos are attached below.

The location and service were wow 🤩. I stayed for 7 days, and the staff were really helpful, even when I extended at the last minute and they managed to keep my room. Mine was a little small, but I chose it because it had a private bathroom. The shared bathroom for rooms without one was extremely clean, and the cleaner was terrific. I did miss having a kitchen and a TV in the room.

The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was quite clean, but the toilet seat was too small for the toilet, which felt unhygienic in a shared bathroom used by men and women. We had no hot water on the last day, and during our 4 nights nobody cleaned the room or even emptied the trash. The location is good, though the room felt like a cell: very basic, with no decoration or plants like in the pictures. The room we got isn't shown in them.

The location was really convenient, just a few minutes' walk from the center. I had a room with its own bathroom, and in high season it was one of the better value options in Alicante.
