My friend and I couldn't stay because our flight was cancelled, but the owners kindly refunded what we paid. I want to leave a five-star review and a huge THANK YOU. That made the stress of the flight and vacation cancellation a bit easier to handle. I hope to get back to Alicante as soon as possible. Pinzon Studios is the only accommodation I'll want to book. 🩷

We are a senior, English-speaking couple, and this was our 13th annual two-month holiday. This time we stayed in Alicante, Spain, in February and March, 2025. We paid $4000/month for the two-bedroom top-level Penthouse Suite with a two-level outdoor terrace. The location was central, with an outdoor terrace over two levels and exclusive elevator access opening right onto the third-floor penthouse. The master bed and warm comforter were nice, the sheets were soft, and there were large closets in the master bedroom. Support staff were very helpful, but weren't on site. Only one spot on the living room couch was comfortable. The listing photos don't show how many stairs there are inside the penthouse or up to the terrace. From the elevator entry to the main floor, it's 7 steps. From the main floor to the terrace, 9 steps. From the terrace to the highest observation deck, 12 steps. Installing the door opening app on my smartphone was difficult. There was nowhere to hang clothes in the main-floor/second bedroom, so we used two 3 drawer cabinets and shelves between the hot water closet and refrigerator, away from the bedroom. There's no English translation for the washer/dryer controls, and the kitchen counter space is minimal. The penthouse is best for two people, maybe okay for four, two couples, but no more. The circuit breaker flipped, so the stove top and room heater stopped working. There's no lamp by the bed in the main-floor/second bedroom. The master bathroom shower water is too hot, with no way to cool it. The master bedroom is affected by exterior noise at night, and the wall heater above the hot water heater 'leaked' black flakes the entire time we were there. At 9:30 pm another couple walked into the apartment from the security elevator because of an 'administrative error'. This is what can happen with rental apartments when staff are 'off premise'. They had the privacy codes for our apartment, the ones only we had. It was very scary. Management said 'Sorry', but offered no other compensation. Walk times: apartment elevator to front door, 90 seconds down. Front door to apartment, 60 seconds up.

Patrick and his team were a pleasure to deal with, helpful and accommodating. The penthouse was clean, comfortable, stylish, and well equipped, with roof terraces as a nice bonus. From this great location, bars and restaurants are a minute away, the old town is 3 minutes away, and the beach is a 4-minute walk. Pretty much every Alicante attraction is a few minutes away. We can't recommend it highly enough.

Patrick and Ricky were both really helpful with the booking and local knowledge. The location is excellent, about 350m from the Marina and the dining places in Calle Castaños. It feels like a boutique hotel, but is self sufficient, as the site summary says. The powerful 'drench' shower and precise handheld unit were good. The bed was big enough, which hasn't been the case for me in other places I've stayed in Spain, where my toes usually hang over the end. WiFi was fast and easy to access. Online Check In with their recommended App was simple. It recognized my Passport photo and accepted my ID details in seconds. Definitely worth a stay next time I'm in Alicante.
