Casa Bella Gracia by Aspasios

We were really impressed with the staff during our four nights here. Leo let me check in two hours early, which was great. I also needed help twice, once when I called the emergency number and once after I accidentally jammed the safe with my valuables inside. The staff responded quickly both times and were kind and understanding. The rooms are on the small side, but clean each day and comfortable, and the AC works beautifully. The location is a 10/10, close to the metro. Great guest service and competitive pricing too. Thanks for hosting us!

The location was convenient, with lots of cafes and restaurants around and an 8-10 minute walk to the metro. The room, though, made the stay very unpleasant. It was tiny, stuffy, and poorly ventilated. There was a strong mold smell from the start that made me lightheaded, and I found mold in the AC unit and spreading across the bathroom ceiling. Staff brushed it off as not serious and gave me a dehumidifier. That only made the room hotter without fixing the mold. They said there were no other rooms, so I was stuck. With the AC off because of the mold and the dehumidifier blowing hot air, I had to sleep with the window open. It didn’t improve the air, and I caught a cold. The poor room conditions and lack of effective help made this a really bad stay. The location is handy, but based on my experience I can’t recommend the hotel. The rooms need some maintenance to be a safe, healthy place for guests.

We stayed eight nights at Casa Bell Gracia, and the location suited us perfectly. There are several subway stations and Passeig De Gracia a couple of blocks away, lots of places to eat within walking distance, and a supermarket just one block away. Our room was clean and comfortable, though the mattress was a bit hard for my taste. It faced the back, so there was no view and it was dark, but I only used it for sleeping and bathing. The hostess, Cristina, and another very nice gentleman were helpful with what I needed. I’d definitely stay here again!

Everyone at Casa Bella was wonderful, so charming and accommodating. The hotel is cute and spotlessly clean, and we loved it. Thanks so much, we’ll be back!
