We felt right at home here, with everything we needed and then some. The apartment was cozy, lovely, and felt safe. We’re a family with kids and can be a bit picky, but Martin was so helpful, sharing city details and a bit of history, plus advice on where to go or avoid and what would be fun for children. It’s well placed for walking to sights or biking, while still being peaceful at night without tourist noise. Thanks so much, and hope to see you again soon! 🇺🇦🇹🇷

Casa Valeta was the best part of our Barcelona trip. We’d traveled to Austria, Italy, Spain, and France, and Barcelona ended up being our favorite, with its affordable, delicious tapas and food, beautiful architecture, and beach to visit in good weather. The city and its friendly people have even made me want to learn Spanish again so I can understand Barcelona better next time. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, cozy, and felt very safe, with lots of doors you can lock. It’s near shopping but quiet at night. The owner was warm, generous, and helpful, replying to messages as quickly as he could. Everything worked well, and we especially liked the big dining table and well-stocked kitchen for sharing food from local markets. Staying there made us feel at home. This is my first hotel or apartment review, and I’m glad this place gave me a reason to write one.

Martin and Marina were the best part of our stay. They were friendly and welcoming, and helped us get oriented with the city and choose places to see and things to do. We stayed three nights in this clean, cozy studio and would happily recommend it. The location is right in the city center: Diagonal metro is a five-minute walk, buses are about three minutes away, and the airport train is around ten minutes on foot. There are a couple of shops nearby for milk and supplies. The place feels safe and secure, with a well-equipped kitchen, handy maps and visitor information, air conditioning, plenty of storage, and great WiFi.

Martin was a wonderful host. Even though we arrived after 10 pm, he showed us around the apartment, walked with me to the parking lot about three blocks away, and pointed out good restaurants and Tapas bars just behind or beside the building. Really welcoming. The central location is great, facing the Diagonal and one block from Passeig de Gracia, at the Diagonal corner. There are lots of good restaurants and bars nearby, including local Tapas places open very late that welcome families and kids. The apartment has two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room, a large kitchen, two toilets, two showers, and a bathtub, so it can sleep six and works well for a big group. The decor is really cool, and it felt like living in a deluxe apartment in the middle of Barcelona. I’d recommend Casa Velata to a large group or family.
