We asked them to fix the mattress problem, and they offered to replace it on our third and final night. That never happened. The mattresses were so bad I could hardly sleep, and I could feel the metal inside pressing into my body. The basic setup was also poor. All the men in the apartment had to share one toilet and one shower, and they weren't clean. They were right beside our room, with such thin walls that we could hear everything happening in the bathroom. A crying baby on the other side of our room and cigarette smoke coming in from somewhere nearby didn't help. We're fine with basic facilities, but they need to be maintained and in working order. Our experience was close to horrible. Think twice before staying here. Better not go, actually.

For an excellent price, you get clean, comfortable rooms with nice views and good soundproofing against the traffic on Gran Via. The staff were nice, and the quality standards were good. It’s a place where you can have a pleasant stay without spending much.

I really liked the building's old feel and the interior, and the room was spacious. The staff were nice, but they weren't ready when we arrived because we hadn't given them our arrival time. We called, and they came to open the door, though we ended up waiting almost an hour. There was no AC, so in the very hot summer weather I visited in, I had to put up with the heat, hhehe.

The place was freezing when we arrived at 14 o'clock in January. Outside it was 13°C in the sun, but our room felt colder. After 20 minutes wearing winter coats and boots indoors, our limbs started going numb. Those conditions are dangerous to health and life. We contacted the owner through Booking.com chat and were offered a technician while we went to a coffee shop to warm up. Two hours later, the room was just as cold, so we looked for somewhere else to stay, expecting it to get worse overnight as the temperature dropped. It also wasn't cleaned properly. There were spiderwebs under the ceiling, brown stains on the walls and furniture, and a floor that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The bathrooms were discolored and smelled bad, the "kitchen" (fridge) wasn't clean at all, and paint was peeling on doors and windows throughout the property. When we raised these problems, the owner insisted the place was spotless, which it clearly wasn't, as the attached pictures show. When we returned for our things, the owner said she would arrive in 15 minutes, but she never did. The so-called "technician" came instead. After these lies, and because the place isn't fit to be rented out, we found another place to sleep. It was a huge waste of money and time, and they were unwilling to give us any refund.
