We were unsure what to expect from a two-star hotel, especially on our first trip to Barcelona, but our friend’s booking turned out to be a great find. The staff were warm and helpful, including with directions and transport advice, and the rooms were exceptionally clean. Breakfast was a well-stocked continental buffet for €12 per person, with plenty of variety and regular refills. Tea, coffee, and water were available free in reception around the clock. There weren’t any drink-making facilities in the room, though, so we used the drinks downstairs. We’d happily stay again.

The breakfast was a real surprise: fresh and lovely for €13, better than what I’ve had at some much pricier hotels. The location was perfect, close to everything, and the room had everything I needed despite being simple. I booked something affordable and hoped it would be okay. It was more than okay. I got such a warm, friendly welcome, and they even offered me coffee or water while I waited to check in. One of my best hotel stays in a long time. I’d definitely recommend it.

We were just a five-minute walk from the metro, which made getting around easy. The room and breakfast were excellent, but the reception staff made the stay especially memorable. They helped us with everything, from advice on what to see and where to eat to getting around, and were ready to help with any request. A lovely discovery, highly recommended.

We’d read that this might be one of the city’s sketchier neighborhoods, but we had no trouble, even at night. The lobby also had unlimited water, so we could refill the two bottles we’d brought from the airport each day. We were a couple visiting in February, and we’ve never stayed at a better hotel. The staff were amazing from the start and helped with everything. They even let us check in about three hours early, which meant we could get straight out to explore. Breakfast was very nice, and the rooms were spacious and clean, with fresh towels and daily cleaning. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona.
