Habitat Apartments Pedrera

The location made it easy to go out for a meal or a drink, shop, and see the sights, and the beds were comfortable with plenty of space. The apartment was in good shape and very clean. We stayed four nights and would definitely recommend it. We arrived half an hour later than planned, but it wasn’t a problem. The woman checking us in spoke English really well.

The place was clean and great otherwise. The only issue for me was the bathroom had no lock, which isn’t ideal when you’re sharing the Airbnb.

The unit was clean and good, but the entrance door caused trouble. Make sure you connect to the Wi-Fi first. You might need to walk toward the middle of the apartment to pick up the signal. Also, arrange a time to meet them. They were an hour late opening the door, so we were left waiting on the street. At least the neighborhood felt safe. A cab to or from the airport costs about 30-35€. You just need to find a taxi and work out a pickup with the driver.

The location was a plus, with all the sights reachable on foot. There were two bathrooms, plenty of storage, hygiene products, and a pack of kitchen supplies. The apartment was dirty. It hadn’t been properly cleaned, the bathrooms looked as if no cleaning product had been used, and the floor had only been mopped. The mattresses were worn out, so you sink into a hole. The old couch was worn and smelled, and the decorative pillows smelled awful, as if they’d never been washed. They list a dishwasher and even left tablets for one, but there wasn’t a dishwasher. The windows let in cold air and street noise. The heating wasn’t enough to warm the room with two beds and a window running along the whole wall. They also canceled our door code a day early. After a full day sightseeing, we were exhausted and had to call to sort it out. The woman on the phone wasn’t helpful and made it harder, which was unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. There are plenty of other places in Barcelona, and the owner should take that seriously.
