Hotel Hesperia Barri Gòtic

Just outside the gothic quarter, the hotel is easy to walk from to the beach, the las ramblas market, and the basilica. The staff were incredibly helpful with food recommendations and arranging a taxi. They also kindly held our many bags when we arrived before check-in. Great location!

The Circle, inside the Hotel, is a great bonus: a mellow lounge atmosphere, nice jazz, and AMAZING cocktails. I’d definitely include it in a Barcelona bar visit and try some of their creative creations. We had a wonderful stay at the Hesperia Barri Gòtic in the gothic neighborhood, within walking distance of so many places I wanted to see. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier, and the rooms were perfect, with lots of space in the bathrooms, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and nice towels.

The room was clean when we arrived, and it was easy to walk to lots of food, sights, and other things to do. The staff were welcoming and very accommodating, including giving our group a late checkout so we had somewhere to rest before heading to our next destination. Check-in itself was smooth, though local tax was added then and I’m not sure why it wasn’t included.

The Circle Bar inside the hotel was a great place to end the evening with a nightcap. The hotel itself is a beautiful boutique spot in the Gothic area, and my room was spotless with a really comfortable bed. The staff were warm, helpful, and welcoming throughout. I’d happily recommend staying here.
